Can buildings have personalities? Can the edifice emote through body language? More importantly, how can we manage a proportionally "chill" building? Contrapposto is an asymmetrical arrangement of the human body, where the distribution of bodyweight is done so in a lopsided way. Michelangeo''s David, for instance, is an example where the shoulder line and the hip line of a body become non-parallel with one another. Here, we abstract that figural diagram into a building model. Perhaps the head tilts, perhaps the shoulder slouches. From every orientation, each elevation evokes a slightly different reading of the body language.
