QLAB, together with Bureau Spectacular and Smith-Clementi, has created an international and Taiwan-centric team for this proposal. We have teamed with a Los Angeles based group of Taiwanese origin, Bureau Spectacular, and Smith-Clementi. They work at various scales and disciplines to create award-winning spaces and places. Together we believe we offer a unique perspective to update this important institution while paying homage to it's bold and important architecture.

Our proposal will engage the public and the park in a way that changes how people access the museum and simultaneously can act as a backdrop for art festivals and large events. Our proposal is generated to remediate the waterproof and leakage problems by removing the main flat skylight while not radically changing the space below. We believe that this proposal works in concert with the existing architecture by providing a more prominent entrance to the museum and
face to the park.

With Q-LAB's experience and leadership working with Bureau Spectacular and Smith-Clementi, we believe we offer a unique perspective with the means to achieve this design within the budget in a way that transforms and remediates the museum's issues to create a brighter future.
