The play between transparency and opacity in architecture evokes relationships of social experiences and ideological shifts. The future of glass, and the legacy of windows, will continue to be a reflection of human spirits.
This project, Three Little Pigs, is a villa for three brothers who choose to remain opaque to one another on the inside, but relatively transparent to the outside. Each one of their bedrooms is opaque and shaped according to their personality. Although they openly share every activity of their lives; they selectively represent only their self-perceived individuality. As our society strives towards introspective autonomy, this house is an essay on the ongoing process towards being transparently opaque.
