This project is a rug that occupies three sides of an interior corner.

This is a three-piece rug, where two surfaces are placed vertically like tapestries that climb up two corner walls, and one floor panel snug-fitting the corner floor of a room.

A splat is an onomatopoeia. In cartoons, a splat also has a specific graphic expression where fluids become outward-exploding. Our rug is a tribute to both Robert Smithson and Roy Lichtenstein, if the two never had a chance to collaborate.
