This project is an oversized coat hanger, produced for our exhibition Shadows of Things We Wished We Had at the Volume Gallery.
This project asked a few simple questions: What if the hook on a coat hanger is an incomplete halo of a saint? Moreover, what is the status of scale-figures in an architectural render, when the outline of a 2D human shape can exist within a designed interior? St. Sebastian, who suffered arrow wounds, is the perfect human shape for clothing items to hang onto.
This coat hanger can be purchased at the Volume Gallery.
