Mobile e Immobile is an indoor installation project inside the abandoned tunnels near the Milan Central Train Station.

Mobile e Immobile is a story about the status of office culture in a post-zoom world of the great work-life collapse. An office floor without walls, similar to a sports field, becomes a graphic system from which we find lines that we do or do not cross. The figure-ground relationship formed by the lines, in this installation, become conceptual rooms one can work within. The changing nature of office work hinges on where we work, and how mobile we are. Do we arrange furniture to work between walls, or might we work in a field of furniture between lines? Might we be able to work anywhere as long as there is a desk and a laptop? The blue and green patches are a way of thinking about digital backdrops. This is a story about the movable office furniture inside the immovable commercial real estate in the 21st Century.
